Solution 1: Delete the.nd file and recreate it.


To create the Network Descriptor file, you must first scan the folder containing the system file.

The Network Descriptor file contains information about the machine hosting the company file.

Enter the QuickBooks programme Database, Server Manager by using the Windows key.

Select the QuickBooks Database Server Manager, then Add Folder to search the company files for folders.

When you click Scan under the QuickBooks Company files after you’ve added all of the stored folders, the information files appear. Close the window.

Solution 2: Start the QuickBooks programme and open the QuickBooks business files using a UNC path.
