To address your QuickBooks Point of Sale difficulties with the server

Step 1: Make sure your server is in multi-user mode.

In your QuickBooks POS programme, go to the File menu.

Switch Company File to Multi-User Mode by clicking on it.

Close your programme and reboot your computer.

Restart your QuickBooks POS.

Step 2: Enable the Network Discover Option.

Select Control Panel from the drop-down menu.

Choose Network and Sharing Center.

From the left side of the window, select Change advanced sharing settings.

Expand your social media profile.

Select Turn on the option Network Discovery from the Network Discovery section.

To enlarge the section, pick the All Networks option from the configuration option.

Click the Turn off Protected Sharing button in the Protected Sharing pane.

Please shut the window.

Reboot your computer.

Renaming the WSActivity Files is the third step.

Look for the folder containing WSActivity.

Right-click on the file and rename it.

OLDWSActivity is the new name for the file.

Close all QuickBooks POS applications and then reopen them.

Step 4: Enable multi-user mode on the server.

Launch the QuickBooks Point of Sale programme.

Then select File from the File menu.

Switch Company File to Multi-User Mode by clicking on it.

Restart QuickBooks POS at this point.
