You may remember a transaction by following the procedures listed below:

Step 1: First and foremost, input all transaction data and double-check them; do not save them. Make careful to keep any details that may vary from period to period blank, such as memo number, posting date, and so on.

Step 2. Select Memorize from the Edit menu, give it a name, and then select either ‘Add to my Reminder list’ > and ‘How frequently’ to determine the frequency, or ‘Do not Remind me,’ in which case the transaction will not be put to your reminder list, but you may still use the template.

Lastly, you can also select Automate transaction entry > enter how often and next date field. And transactions will be posted automatically when it’s due.

Step 3. Now enter all the other required details and click on Ok, choose to save and close and click on Next again.

Editing the Memorized Transaction: Steps

For modifying a remembered transaction, simply follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Select Memorized Transactions from the List menu, then double-click on the transaction you want to change or edit.

Step 2: Make the necessary adjustments and choose to Memorize from the top.

Step 3: To edit an existing transaction, click Replace, or Add to create a new one.

Step 4: To complete the procedure, just click save and close or save and next in the final step.

How to Remove the Memorized Transaction

You must follow the procedures below to delete a remembered transaction:

Step 1: Go to the List menu and choose Memorized transaction, just like we did throughout the editing process.

Step 2: Pick the transaction you want to delete from the list, then select the memorized transaction drop-down menu and select Delete the memorized transaction, then click OK.

This also reduces the scope of little mistakes and errors as most of the details will already be there in the memorized transaction template, you will just have to change the amount, posting date, and description.
