Sage software is  primarily compatible with the Windows operating system only.  Sage One is the only software from the Sage family to run smoothly on any operating system with Internet Explorer.  However, it is not the most popular software from Sage. Other versions such as Sage 50 Payroll, Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Instant Accounts are compatible with Windows. If you want to use Sage 50 On Mac Laptop or PC you can do these .

You don’t have to lose heart though! There are ways !  Many Apple Mac versions such as macbook, Macbook Pro, iMac and MacBook Air share the same Mac OS X operating system. You can make Sage 50 work on Mac if you are able to install Windows on these Mac systems.

We will tell you about a software that makes installing Windows possible on Mac. It’s the Boot Camp software. Sage supports running its software in a Boot Camp environment. Boot Camp comes with embedded Mac and also allows you to install Windows, your preferred OS. Once you are successful in installing the Windows OS on Mac, you can make Sage 50 operational on Windows as well. Please keep in mind that you are using a windows version compatible with your Boot Camp version.

You can also install Windows on Mac with virtual applications like Parallel or VMware. You can use Windows applications on your Mac without even rebooting the system. You can seamlessly copy and paste screens and shared documents as well.
