Sage Printing issues in windows

Hi ,

I am using SAGE 50 accounting software 2017 , Whenever I am trying to Print something from SAGE 50 , getting error , I had checked driver compatibility issue and more setting but still unable to find solution . Earlier when I was using Windows 7 everything was find few days back I upgraded to Windows 10 OS . Help me to fix

Hi ,

Did you checked help topic Sage 50 Printing Problems  are you receiving any error code like printer not activated -20 or -30 error code . and lets me know how you move SAGE 50 to windows 10 mean are you using same PC / Laptop or using new one . Also did you tried Printer drive update after migration sometimes , outdated Driver not showing any error but printer either not responding or hand between job process . User often facing same kind of issue printing labels,  layouts, letters or reports.

Are you getting the “Printer not activated 30 Error code” ?  If so , the following steps may help you-

 

  • Close Sage
  • Press Windows +R
  • In the search box, type Control and then OK
  • Click on Devices and Printers
  • Search for Sage 50 E Mail Writer V3
  • Select Remove Device
  • Select any printer available
  • Then select Print Server properties
  • Select Drivers
  • Click Amyuni Document Converter 450
  • Click Remove
  • Click on Remove Driver and Driver Package
  • Click OK
  • Navigate to Print Server Properties again
  • Click Amyuni Document Converter 300 or 500 (whichever is available)
  • Click Remove Driver and Driver Package
  • Click OK
  • Run Repair for Sage
  • Press Windows +R
  • In the search box, type Control and then OK
  • Click on Devices and Printers
  • Search for Sage 50 E Mail Writer V3
  • Select Printer Properties
  • Navigate to the Ports tab
  • Click on the Add Port tab
  • Click on Local Port and then on New Port tab
  • Write PDF1 as the port name
  • Click OK
  • Now navigate to the Advanced tab
  • Click the box named Enable Advanced Printing Features
  • Click Apply
  • Click the box named Print Directly to the Printer
  • Click Apply and then Close
  • Restart  your computer
