Method #1: After opening the software, check for updates:

Check which product updates or upgrades are available by going to the Help Menu:

The notification “You are up-to-date” will show on a machine that has previously been updated.

A message response will show if an update is available: “Upgrade is available.” The only thing you need to do now is download and install the update. Once the upgrade has finished downloading, install it. Choose the Install Now option.

Select the install option from the drop-down menu. Now you must wait for the installation to complete. In the meanwhile, follow all of the on-screen directions that appear.

Select the Finish button once the installation procedure has completed successfully. Check the box but don’t check it.

Sage 50 2020 will launch on its own.

Sage will have a splash screen.

Method #2: Manually Upgrade the Software

Check the download folder for software. If its there or not:

💠 Select the start button and then click on My Computer.

💠 Here is the directory path you need to follow: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download

If you are unable to follow the right path, move to the next path.If you are still not able to see the file, some issue must be there with the file to move to the network. Now, run the .exe file.Follow all the instructions of the installation wizard as displayed on the screen.
